she isn't out of the woods yet. Wed, if she doesn't bottom out, she will go back to the vet to have her blood checked again.
Anyone know the daily requirements of b12 for dogs? I read that b12 helps the red blood cell production. Trying to help my girl and my other dogs too. All this illness is making me paranoid.
thanks sharon

.05 mg per pound of dog
Same sources as heme iron, in general .... liver would be way up there.

she seems tired today. But barks and wags her tail. It's hard to tell because we all know how dogs will do anything to please us, even when they are sick.
She is eating well, drinking well, going out well. Hops out of her crate and just walks along. She goes to the vet on wed. But if need be I will take her sooner.
I am sad today. She misses her pack mates but can't be with them. Anyway, without a blood test, I will say she is plugging along. Her next blood test should tell us. I a concerned about her.
Just wanted to give all of you an update on Terra. She went to the vet today and her blood test was a good report. Her red blood cells have come up a couple points. Her platelets are good. So she is responding to treatment. Thank you for all your prayers and positive thoughts. She goes back in two weeks. She is still not out of the woods yet, but clearly is doing better.
