Mike, that's interesting, because my dog is a strong chewer, too. Did you let your dog have the ball, or were you using it to play or train?
If I let my dog have the ball, it wouldn't last more than a few minutes, either. I only use it for structured play, then it is put away when the game is over.
hey milty-
yup, some breeds are avid aggressive chewers ,labs not being one of them. there fine with there stuffed little play squeakers.hahaaahaaa <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
you must have a joke somewhere about this dont ya?
cant wait to read it.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
thats what i noticed with my friends dogs when it took them days to get through rawhide bones. maybe yours just isnt the softy that is the norm. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
Mine eats rawhides in a matter of minutes. That's why I don't give him rawhides. That's pretty usual for Labs. Your friend's Lab doesn't sound like most of the ones I know!
When we had the dobe next door I would bring identical shank bones home. One for my dog and one for the Dobe. My dog had a quarter of the bone gnawed down and the dobe didn't do much damage to it. Just my observation it must be the norm though.
HAHAHAHAAHAAAAA..........Milty, i was waitin for the milt joke. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
man, that was one of the best yet...keep em rolling. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
oh ya , it was 4 labs. i assumed since all labs have identical personalities that there chewing habits would also be identical. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
