Then if you need to be scared again....

I love infection zombies the most (28 Days Later) but the undead variety are the most fun to watch movies about (Zombieland).
The Masters Of Horror collection is fun, something there for all horror fans and a lot of them are on netflixhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masters_of_Horror
My personal favorites were Pick Me Up which is just fun between two competing serial killers with conflicting signatures and Homecoming which is probably one of the only zombie movies I could describe as "feel good" where fallen American soldiers come back to vote in the presidential election. For true horror Imprint is horrific, Jenifer is creepy, Family is a little campy but fun, Dance of the Dead is interesting, and Sounds Like is good. For super campy The Washingtonians is much funnier than it has any right to be, Sick Girl is cute, and Pelts is just....special...
Avoid Haeckel's Tale as it goes from "this is interesting" to zombie orgy and keeps going down hill, Pro-Life is disappointing and has really off special effects.
I will warn you, the MoH is unrated, many of them would be NC17 if they were to get a rating.
For you campy zombie movie fans out there...Zombie Strippers is actually very well done an hilarious

The orphanage does look like one up my street, Hostel and the Saw movies were ones I think are more blood and guts aren't they?? I saw 'The Woman in white' one xmas eve, and that was really 'oh bloody hell!!' in places, I have them Omen box set which I love, I really want a need-someone-to-stand-outside-the-bathroom scary, I really want to be too afraid to go to bed horror!
Imprint sounds interesting.....!!

The first saw was VERY good, the others were fun...but were the blood and guts type more than anything else. Hostel is a gore fest but there is a simple but fun plotline behind it.
I will warn you Imprint is gory, but it's not like Hostile, or Texas Chainsaw Massacar, or any of the "Travelers get killed in creative ways by maniacs" type movies.
I LOVE the Omen, both the original and I thought the remake did a very good job. I'd check out Grace for more evil children...though it does get sort of campy-bloody at the end...

I also have all the 'Hannibal Lecter' films, another favourite and lots of black comedy!
So, going to order Imprint, and Klowns that Connie recommended, I have 10 days off at Xmas so keep the suggestions coming, the scarier the better, ones that will have me sleeping with the light on!

I have watched The Shining so many times I can actually read the script along to the film; Me, sad and have no life outside my dogs?? Nahhh!!!
Though not a horror in the true sense of the word, I have also watched Kill Bill 1 & 2 more times than I care to mention, winter nights are long and boring and our terrestrial TV is pants!!

See, I was never a big Shining fan, for people going crazy in enclosed spaces I like Misery for that. I just watched 9 Dead and House of 9 (not related)
9 Dead was quite good, killer has 9 people in a room and they have to figure out why they're all there, every few minutes he asks if they figured it out, then he shoots one of them...quite thrilling
House of 9 was also interesting, I thought it was going to be like Saw 2 where people try to survive a house filled with traps and each other but it was solely the humans that could do the killing. It was about mental breakdown and desperation (the one survivor would win 5 million dollars). It was pretty well done.
For those who want something really creepy the Fear Itself episode "Skin and Bones" is wonderful with amazingly well done make-up. It's based on the Wendigo legend and is quite scary with spot on acting
Fear Itself has a very good installments. It was a response to a competitor channel's "Masters of Horror" though all of the stories would fall into the PG13-R range
The best episodes were Family Man, which is a horrifying watch, I'm told it's more terrifying if your a parent, Skin and Bones as mentioned above, and New Year's day which is a zombie short that has a unique take on zombies. I enjoyed Eater which is more gory and The Circle. Spirit Box and Community were a little unoriginal but very well done. The only super campy one was Something With Bite but it was very cute and well done.
For those of you who can't tolerate the gore as much look into the Fear Itself collection, some of them (Eater) have some squick but much of the actual mutiliation is off camera. There is some blood but they're very good....If you want a scare Family Man and Skin and Bones are your episodes!

I saw the title and thought B movie, maybe someone can prove me wrong??
What about paranormal activity 2?? I watched the first and was dissapointed, I don't mind blood and guts, but psychological and "HOLY S***T!" is what I am looking for, there MUST be something out there that will give me the 'come upstairs to the loo' with me scary!
