They look fabulous Ram, and the tolerance she is showing towards the other dogs is a testement to her nature, and more to the point, you as the pack leader, it's so great see, you should be very proud of yourself and your dogs!
jenny>> My mother tongue is Tamil. It is a very ancient language.
Sharon>> I do not have a specific diet. I feed what I can get my hands on. But here is what I feed 95% of the time.

What I feed bommi is more of the same stuff , just 3-4 times a day.
After Bommi gave birth, (I have added to the other stuff) I feed bommi a porridge we make with cracked wheat that is cooked in milk and has Jaggery added to sweeten it.
Some one told me Onions are toxic to dogs. But I see street dogs eating onions all the time and they seem to be OK. However, I have not pushed my luck on the onions.
Ram, that is simply amazing! The control you have over your other dogs & understanding their nature is fabulous! I'm so glad you post on here so we can see another facet of dog ownership from the (literally) other side of the world!
What fat and happy puppies too! Do you know if anyone in the USA breeds these dogs? Just curious.
Deb, thanks for your kind words. I doubt if any one in USA breeds these dogs. These are pretty rare even in India. They are thought of as dogs for "hicks" (no offense intended). So far, I do not have a solid enquiry for even one pup .
I find the breed to be EXTREMELY intelligent which develops a very strong bond with it's master/family. I feel very lucky to have her.
She always focuses on me. I have never trained even the look command. It is in her blood to be attentive. There are an other 100 things I love about her, but too lazy to type.
