You on the other hand... well I'll let you keep Lash. I was pretty open-minded but he was the one puppy I did NOT want.
Hope your wife and dachshund forgive you...
LOL! The funny thing is pretty much everyone wanted Teal based on the photos and everyone did not want Late based on my descriptions of the little heathen :-)
I think that one of the most rewarding things for me is everyone who has gotten a puppy seems to believe that they got the best pup. At the end of the day all I asked for was for the pups to go to people who would love them and I feel like that goal has been accomplished. Here is hoping everyone still loves their heathens as they start their rebellious teenage stage :-)

What?!? How could you not want my little cuddle monster?
In all honesty, even with his 5 second puppy attention span Woozle is incredibly attentive. I have no idea if he has any clue what either "sit" or "watch me" means yet, mostly because his default behavior is to sit and stare at me. Hmmm... Is he sitting because I told him to or because he just is? My husband keeps asking me, "What on earth does he want?" (This is Daisy's relatively polite attention-seeking behavior) . His platz, hand touch, and rollover are coming along nicely though. He is a very smart puppy.
By the time he gets more than I really want to handle it's usually about the time for him to crash in his crate or in the corner with a chew toy anyway. I think he's just about the right level of puppy monster for me. Any more and I'd be in over my head, any less and I'd get cocky. Ya did good, Ingrid.
Yeah, we'll see if I feel the same way a year from now, when this cute baby turns into an adolescent.
