I remember the first, or at least my first, board change soon after I joined. It was a much more drastic change. At least this one is a very similar format.
Remember all the happy times you had with the old board. It will help you move on.
Alright, it seems like everyone loves the new board!
Uhh, not really! Okay, I freely admit that I too am one of those people who does not handle change in my orderly world well.
That said, I'm sure the new look and feel of the board will grow on me with time, and the slowness issues (I'm having some of those, too) will be ironed out.
eta: And the emoticons have changed! They look completely different! I just noticed with this post. You click on the box to select one, and they look like the old ones, but they appear differently in the post.
eta2: Okay, some of them do, not all of them. Now I'm really confused.

Edit reason: eta and eta2
The new look is attractive, but I CAN"T get my messages and it says I have one!
(I don't handle change well, either, but I was so going to try and be grown up about it. Forget it! I guess I'm just going to have to face the fact that I am pouty, immature, old and set in my ways. So there!)

What a cute thread. Nothing like putting it all on the table.
We’re going through a big transformation at work too, computer programs being the driver of a new way of doing business. Some folks are having a tough time with all the changes.
What I love about this site and the people who run it is their forward way of thinking. Yes, things "were" working; it was a great site that functioned well.
Sometimes it's not just about what works well though, it about how can we improve and be the best. With advancements, learning and change there's always a certain amount of resistance and folks get pushed out of their comfort zones but it's truly the only way change can happen.
In support of this wonderful site and the folks who do such an incredible job of getting all the latest and greatest, up-to-date information to us, at the click of mouse, in the comfort of our homes, my hat is off to you.
I'm more than willing to put up with a few bugs for a better way to house and navigate this wealth of information. I'm sure it was a tremendous undertaking that for the most part has caused minimal disruptions and been extremely successful.
Thanks guys, for all your hard work on updating to the latest technology. Job well done!!

Just had to play with the pretty new quoting again, but Connie, I absolutely LOVE this feature you mentioned!! Some great new stuff, almost like a new toy.
