For me, a vomiting dog with weird poop gets tiny bits of cooked bland food for the time being. That would be overcooked white rice and skinless white chicken (or baby food) in very small meals, but also encouraging frequent (small, so as not to trigger more vomit) drinking, even if it means baited water (cooled back to room temp).
You want to keep a vomiting dog hydrated (and carefully watched) without triggering more vomiting.
It doesn't mean all muscle meat (like a bunch of cooked chicken breast) because of the big imbalance of the calcium-phosphorus ratio. This nutrition imbalance is short-term and not really relevant, but all meat and no calcium means soft poop.
So unless this was longer-term (in which case I would be supplementing with the right amount of calcium), I just make it soupy overcooked white rice (a binding food) with white chicken added to it towards the end of the cooking, fed in small amounts.
it turns out she had eaten a very large chunk of a Leerburg dog mat. it was vomited last night, I caught the noise from the kitchen, walked in and 'yucked' her as she was starting to re eat it. not sure if she re ate last time.
not sure how she got it,always teathered in house.
would have been from Bridget's bed which got thrown out night before all this started. every now and then Bridget shreds a bed

I'm so relieved (as I am sure you are!) that it came back up!
I really am, she was acting totaly normal all day, and had it gone the other way it would be bad. Gave her chicken&rice this morning,
but am thinking she should get half to 2/3 of her normal raw tonight?

OK, then it sounds like you are describing normal unobstructed poops.
I'd be watching this dog's poops carefully for a while, along with overall liveliness, good appetite, lack of reaction to my feelies around the abdomen -- everything to assure me that nothing has remained stuck.
