Amber, your right that she does not get much attention, she is very timid and will pee when scolded. She has had two litter of pups when my niece moved in with her two male mutts. They managed to find homes for them and finally they got her fixed.
It's sad, wish they would find her a home when she can get a lot of attention and training. I know it would be easy, she's all white with sky blue eyes and really sweet.
Do they understand about submissive peeing?
Although I guess it's pretty off topic. But like you, I feel really bad for the dog.
Yes, The do understand the submissive peeing and don't scold her for it. A couple years ago she got out of the backyard and they couldn't find her. Clearly someone found her and kept her, six months later when my sister go home from work, Luna was sitting by the door.
I feel sorry for her also, But they won't listen to me. Some people just should not have dogs.
It must be really difficult for you Peggy, as you say, living in some ones else's house does make it awkward.
Huskies have replaced Staffies as the latest fad here in the village where I live, so many pups being bred by Pikeys and sold on for a couple of hundred quid, and of course the poor dogs aren't being given the work they need - just pulling their owners round the pavements on flexis at full extension, looking frantic and frustrated.
