We can't figure out what's going on and I'm afraid of the wait and see approach, she has another weight check in September. She has normal stools to a bit soft like the older dog at times. Now she is going 4-6 times a day where previously she went 2 possibly 3 times/day.
This dog has always acted very hungry, she is totally food driven unlike the older dog.
Coat in decent shape, shiny and fluffy.
High protein in blood, they ran a protein test in urine and it came back fine. I believe they did this for the lyme since she previously tested positive for lyme. Bloodwork was from June 2012 at which point she already lost all this weight.
What do the poops look like? When and how (and how fast) did the 25 pounds drop off?

Fed only the TOW, thats exactly what mine will do. 4-6 times on some days. I just think he digests the canned a lot better.

And how long did it take her to lose 25 pounds?
Is she now very underweight? What should she weigh?
4 Months. Yes I can feel see/feel all her ribs. She looks best at 85 lbs. Current weight is 71.

Normal to a bit soft like the older dog.
I don't have records of her weight, from what I can recall it was between February till June. It seemed rather alarming when she lost the weight to me, I was in shock, but this is the best I can figure and this is the reason she went to the vet.

OK. Well, I would change foods (largely because of the multiple poops thing happening). If it wasn't for that, I'd do what Steve says. (Or I'd do what Steve said, PLUS drop off a fecal asap.)
I think many dogs digest canned better. Is this a possibility financially?
I've been trying to pin down any possible EPI/SIBO symptoms but don't really see anything jumping out. (That doesn't mean that losing 25 pounds in 4 months or so is anything to take lightly. I'm with you on wanting to get to the cause.)
And is that next appointment early September? I think it should be more than a weight check.
Also, I'm hoping Dr. Betty will see the thread and offer thoughts.

This isnt proof of anything Kimberly, I'm not trying to say this is any kind of proof of no problem, but right now you're 14lbs off what you want as a target weight for her. My Shepherd will stay at 65lbs on kibble only, with canned and kibble he stays at 75. 10Lbs, 14lbs, pretty similar. I don't know if I could put 4 more pounds on him.

My concern was also with the EPI/SIBO or possibly cancer. The reason I switched off EVO was because the older dog had soft(fluffy) stools on it and was getting reluctant to eat it (she's always been weird about eating) and the TOTW did seem to initially help. Also, part financial at the time because EVO went up dramatically in price at my local pet shop, but I can switch back without hardship and combine canned with dry.
September 1st is her next appointment, she had a fecal done in June and everything was fine (not sure what they did with it test wise) but I can drop off another again. Do you know of any specific tests they should be running on it?

For now, I'd just want to double-check parasites without waiting for the vet visit.
But that vet visit ... should be a real visit, and not a weight check.
Second dog:
Let's keep these separate as much as possible; I don't think you're seeing a TOTW issue manifesting in both dogs.
What are your reasons for wanting to use TOTW or Evo on the older soft-poop dog?
I ask because I think you can probably firm up her poops and also keep her eating happily (I am confused, though, about how she got overweight while being a picky, or "weird," eater) without limiting yourself to TOTW and Evo.
She still has soft poops (or has them again) and also urgency. I wouldn't be particularly bent on sticking to Evo or TOTW.

Just a matter of convenience since I don't have much storage room for their food, I can buy her a separate storage container if need be.
Her overweight issue was b/c she was secretly eating the dry cat food at night. She seems to have since stopped doing it for whatever reason.
She has been on TOTW, EVO (red meat and the reduced fat version), Innova, Before Grain, Solid Gold, Orijen, Chicken Soup, Merrick, long ago Science Diet. I'm open to suggestions on other foods, just figured EVO since most still recommend that and is now easy to come by.

Did poops improve when cat-food-eating stopped?
