When I first looked at this I thought it was amusing but the more I looked at the more I think it feeds into the 'pet owners' belief that dogs are responsible for what they do... I.e. complaining rather than training.
Oh yes, totally.
I was hoping the signs were meant to be funny as opposed to the mentality "He knows what he did was wrong and now he's ashamed" BS.

well i definately took the signs as funny, im sure some of the owners did it just for the comedic factor and weren't thinking the dogs knew they should be ashamed and putting their pictures up there would "teach them a lesson"
At least I hope not, but the general public has let me down before.
edit: there were a couple pictures that I didn't like the body language of the dogs, kind of made me feel like they had just been yelled at or corrected for something. I think it was the one that showed a smallish lab/corgi cross looking dog and said something about "I like peeing on everything", that dogs body language did not amuse me.

These are funny in the sense that the sheer stupidity of the owners bragging about their pug "eating sheep crap and throwing up on the carpet every. single. day." is just mind blowing. I can't even begin to imagine how messy one's house must be to leave 16 (16!!!!) pairs of dirty underwear on the floor. Yuck!
That said- Hazzard's sign would say "I hide chicken livers under my tongue and try to spurt them all over the new couch when I'm let out of my crate."
Bella: "would be panty-eater, if my owners were stupid"
