It doesn't matter if it is a female or another male- he has to slurp it (and yes, he makes a slurp noise when he does it. Bleh!) In some dogs, the behavior may never go away but environmental control and leave-it (as said above) is a good start to management

(And the nasty of it, it's not really that bad, sarcasm is hard to convey) I half suspected that it was a natural thing. I've got more proofing to do with the leave it I know. But we are getting there. Hank will never be at the level of a Shepard breed but for a dog that has a very independent streak he KNOWS that I'm the 'dictator'.

I am sure you can train a dog not to, but I am not sure if a remote collar is best. Hopefully someone else will answer with the best way to fix this.
