I never was a fan of any sort of invisible fence. Portable now??? EEEEEEEK!!!!
If the dog isn't under excellent voice control it shouldn't be off lead...PERIOD!
I live on the least traveled country road to no where,used only by farmers and a handful of residents. Almost everyone has at least one dog. All the dogs are on underground fencing,two dogs across from me ,three on the east side,two more dogs down the road. None of these dogs,except for one exception(when the battery in her collar died) has ever been in my yard. I walk past these other dogs nearly every day and none have gone through the fence in the almost three years since living here. Can work in some circumstances.
