I too will withhold judgment. I admit, though, the first thing that crossed my mind was I hope this will not add fuel to the already growing desire by many of the general pet-owning public or tough-guy wannabees to own a Belgian Malinois. So many other breeds have already gone down that unfortunate path.
I'm copying that thread here so we don't have two going concurrently with the same topic.

Anyone have any interest in this new show? It will premiere next Friday.
don't be to worried, ken is a nice guy ive been to his place a few times. most of the dogs are started imports. my unit has bought started dogs from him. as well as the IL state police. he always promoted social dogs. he has a great guarantee dogs are treated well,he's a retired air force k-9 handler/trainer. i don't know what the propose of the biker comments i don't like that either.
i seen a little on the web.i seen dogs bite since 76 i'll watch the mentalist
Joyce;
The first episode was really bad. Reality show junk. I don't want to see a bunch of fat guys learning to rapel.
However, IMO, the second episode was as good as the first one was bad. It actually focused on dogs and training (except for the last three minutes (fat guys picking up snapping turtles).
I must say that I don't understand this new-age deal of tv dialogs, where every other word is "bleep". I mean, it isn't as if the kids nowadays can't fill in the blanks.
Shoot, I didn't watch the second episode because of the first one!
I thought the very same thing, about " not wanting to watch a bunch of fat guys learning to repel" lol!
I kept wondering when I was going to see some legit handlers working some serious dogs?
Looks like I will need to tune in to see the second episode.
Yeah, today's production of shows like his leaves a lot to be desired. Not sure why the producers want all this other " junk" in the show.
I would rather watch real police handlers instead.
I don't know if anyone picked up on it, but if I'm not mistaken David Winners said in one of the first posts about Fama that he first met her at a training facility in Indiana and the trainers looked like a bunch of bikers. Maybe I'm remembering wrong and thinking of something else I read. I'm not good at figuring out the search function to verify that. But if I'm remembering right, that's got to be the same kennel.
