I taught Woozle to go get his food dish as part of our nightly feeding routine. This worked fine until one night neither he nor I could find his food dish. I then made the mistake of using his water dish instead. Well, now whenever he has the slightest trouble finding his food dish (or maybe just because his water dish is in front of his nose) he will bring me the water dish instead, dumping the entire thing in the process.
My husband thought it was cute to teach our male GSD to open the back door to come inside. Real cute until one morning at 6:30 am he was awaken by someone saying "Hello, your door is open"..."Hello, is anyone home". He thought he was dreaming at first, you can imagine how shocked he was to see my neighbor standing in our doorway, with the front door wide open. Justice decided it was time for his morning walk, and he wasn't going to wait on daddy anymore. Lucky for us he had only gotten about a block away before my neighbor noticed he was out by himself. We now keep the dead bolt locked at all times.
I taught Pink to pull twine off hay bales after the twine is cut and the bales are in the feeder. Now he drags twine all over the farm and is very obsessive about it,bringing it to me wanting to play tug.

Oh, I can so picture that.
Stories about a reformed problem dog are so sweet to hear, because we all know just how much work you put into this little guy.

I will quit play tug with the bale twine right now. Harley already try to pull the twine off the bales to play tug with me in the barn.
