Take a slight step toward him to close to gap, and if he tries to scoot back, give your negative bridge (uh uh) and withhold the reward. Get him used to being right up against you, then go back to coaxing him after the recall. Sadie

Are you marking when he's not in the position you want? Now that he has a solid recall, and knows he's supposed to sit front and center, you need to make the behavior more complex and mark once, for the entire behavior, and not until it's correct. You can still bridge the mark, as in my last post, as long as you're certain that he understands all of the components of the complex behavior. Sadie
