Senseless and disgusting. My sympathies to families suffering from this terrorist attack.
Our president does not want to name it as such but what else do you call multiple bombs blown up at a public event? Apparently a Saudi citizen who was acting suspiciously is being questioned along with several others. So many objects are lying around and discarded at a Marathon finish that even a large duffel being put in a trash can would escape notice.
I will be seriously considering avoiding large public gatherings in the future.
My thoughts and prayers go out to those people affected by this senseless, cowardly act. Especially when I heard there was an eight year old child amongst those killed.
My spirits were lifted slightly in the middle of it all, however, when I saw brave men and women running towards the explosion, rather than away, in order to try and help out.

One suspect is dead the other still at large following the shooting of a police officer at MIT.(According to Fox News so add a heaping scoop of salt)
The media is now publishing detailed descriptions of what the bombs consisted of. I hope they're held responsible if somebody uses the info to take more lives.

For years, better info than this about bomb building, complete with instructions, has been available on the internet. Someone seriously determined to do that can easily get any of the info they desire.
Once again, just as with guns, the emphasis should be on the psyche of the person capable of this, rather than the instrument they choose.

Yes, they found the 2 suspects...one dead after a firefight....the other on the loose...they are stopping trains & grey Honda CRVs in CT (one in my town & one in the next town) as well as surrounding areas & states. Boston & Mass is on lock down...no mass transit at all allowed. Hope they catch this other skumbag FAST.
