hahah Bob - Ceilidh and I are two old dogs learning together with a young whipper snapper creating (controlled) havoc.
Thanks Becky - that's a real good piece of info so I will know what to watch for as he get's older. A marked crease or fold in the Exact same spot - got it ..
I used nasal strips on Radar's ears and while he did scratch them off repeatedly, and (to my knowledge) ate several, he never had any affects besides pieces of chewed nasal strip in his poop.
I did use fake nail glue on the sticky side of the strip to give it that much more grip on his furry ears. It worked a lot better than relying on just the strip glue itself.
Unlike the "patch test" warning on hair dye that we all ignore, you might test a drop of the glue on your dog to see if they have any allergic reaction before sealing it under something and being surprised later.
Maggier....as the saying goes.....if it ain't broke..don't fix it! Let nature take it's course. In most cases the ears do fine when left alone, as long as the pup's diet is proper.
OK OK - it ain't broke lol - but you know us type A's eh?
His diet is getting there - increasing the THK every day - soon will be 50/50 - then on from there He's chewing on a good marrow bone (marrow scraped out of most of it)too!
He is having good logs too roflmao - oh my I have been indoctrinated - best photo I ever took was of my other dogs poop to send to Connie - out-did even my Peregrine Falcon shots in how happy I was
