"Meemaw" is Sheldon's grandmother.
Meemaw, and only Meemaw, is allowed to call him "Moon-pie."

PS
I'm Grammy Connie. But then, I'm one of three grandmothers to my grandkids, plus there were a couple of "greats" when the first one was born. So my name did get added along for clarity.

I love the episode where they find the ring from LOTR in a box of junk, and Sheldon, Howard and Raj are all holding on to win, and they start winding Sheldon up about MeeMaw having had to have sex to have had Sheldon's mother, after Sheldon called 'NO MEEMAWS!!' LOL!! Classic
Cheri, my mission in the boy's life is have him love and respect dogs, the rest is up to his parents

Congrats Tracey!! My grandparents were "Grams and Gramps" Though I couldn't say Rs very good when I was little so it was more like "Gams and Gamps".
Some of my best memories are of my grandfather... who taught me the joys of loving animals

That's what I want to do for the boy, teach him all about how important it is to have love and respect for
all animals, but especially dogs

My grandmothers both hated Granny. My one grandmother was called Mamo (pronounced more like Mam-ah) and the other was Grandma Honey.
In Arabic Grandma is Tatah (long A on first syllable). And in Greek it's Yaya.
Congratulations on your promotion to Grandparent. Now you'll be able to spoil him and teach him to love .

Me too. And if you google it, the first return is:
" ... term of endearment for an old Greek grandmother" ....
