Most of us...especially the long timers..that know each other VERY well for many years....along with the newer members here are all HERE FOR THE DOS!!! We will crawl thru broken glass to see that they get what they need!
Always ready & willing to do all I can. Betty, I'm glad that I had her cell number for you. SO VERY glad that she was able to take that trip for your boy. But then wouldn't most of us if needed?!!! It's been done before here!
Very cool... great job everyone! I volunteer at a German Shepherd rescue in my state, so I see quite a few dogs that have ended up in shelters. If not for people like you, who knows where that dog might have landed. Many of them don't make it out of the shelters they are sent to.
Mary, Al and Anne, you are awesome! Also, Betty you are too! So many people would have put it off as "not my problem any more" but you stepped up and with some help from some great friends, you got the job done. So proud to "know" the people I do on this board!

I just did what you are suppose to do, my dog, my obligation Amy!
It was the way everyone, including the woman who rescued him, basically jumped in that warmed my heart!
Holey Moley, last minute flights from Florida to Texas are not only expensive but give you a tour of the US! Not bad going there but not what I want when bringing a dog back. LOL
Yes, but not everyone who talks the talk, walks the walk. I've seen many purebreds go to shelters and the breeder say "not my problem" Its uplifting to know there are breeders who carry a lifelong commitment to all their dogs.
My animals are not "like" family, they ARE family.

Kudos to all that helped perform this miracle. This truly is a great forum with wonderful, supportive people.
Betty, I love that you chip all your pups and that you do the right thing and step up and take responsibility for them when needed. IMO that is the sign of a truly great breeder.
I hate to think what may have happened to that dog if there was no chip and no way to contact you.
