The board has a pretty sizeable group, give us an idea of where you are and I'll bet someone can steer you to a trainer (and not some PP tree hugger either, since most of the participants here train with similar methods <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> ).
Laura is on target. Its very hard to do evaluations over the internet. As long it doesnt violate board rules ( Im not very message board savy ) tell us were you are.
If you know everything you cant possibly learn something new.

Steve, there is a working kennel outside of Ottawa that might be able to help you out. Lots of experience with GSDs and Malinois (A bit of a drive, I know...)
hello well that sounds great. I dont always have access to a car and i do work full time however. I was wondering if maybe one meeting with a GOOD trainer or one meeting a MOnth or something like that would be good enough to steer me in the right direction and methonds based on my dogs needs? god knows pet smart trainers cant help much my dog has been to puppy kindergarden as a puppy and puppy graduate and i always did the homework but i didnt feel like i was getting my moneyies worth at all. Thats the whole thing about a good trainer right they will train me how to train my dog? lol
well thanks to corey i have found a good trainer and currently in the proccess of setting up a date to meet and have my dog evaluated. Just curious anyone else know of any other professional trainers in my area? LOL i didnt know they existed here! And another question is how do i know that the trainer is legit and not someone trying to pull scams? Can anyone screen the web site for me? I know I may sound paranoid but ive been mislead before.
