I know people who say it works on their dog, but I never tried it myself. On 4th of July I may have an opportunity to try it, because my dog is afraid of fireworks.
The question is, if it is a good idea to leave the dog alone all wrapped up tight. I think this would be more a solution, when the handler is at home with the dog.
Yep! I will not be leaving anything on him unless he shows he can tolerate it well while we're there. We'll be testing an ace bandage for destruction potential first, nothing like buying a $40 piece of kit and paying for obstruction removal surgery to go with
I made a face wrap (because adjustable elastic cannot be too magical) and he was not interested in keeping it on once I left him to his own devices - we will give it a shot when there's a storm to test with and see his reaction on that one as well.
And we have a blessedly storm free week coming up, keeping my fingers crossed the forecast does not change - thanks for all the input
That's when I'll be testing it out, when it's quiet and he's out in the house. I don't want to drop a weird situation on top of a nasty storm. He's never had an issue with the backpack or the harness though, so I'm hopeful
