Pack fights are horrible. I would not risk it personally.
Just my own Personal opinion, but I AGRRE with Cathy here -- YOUR dog as an "outsider" and the Only one on a LEAD could easily be Ganged Up On (mobbed) by a pack of strays & seriously MAULED

hi thanks actually the hawkers are not regulars and i think he is comfortable with the balloons thanks again. one more issue is there. as i read that the pet should not mix with the strays, there is a small pack and is friendly with my dog except one. when the pack runs or plays my dog tries to run along with them. normally i give the treats to the pack also.
I agree 100% that your dog should not run with a pack of strays. I'm glad you asked.
Also, I never introduce food (or toys) to a group/pack of dogs. I know you just don't realize it, but it's asking for trouble.
He can pass by the balloons now, Vivek? Did you accomplish this with gradual desensitizing?
hi as you asked about gradual desensitizing towards the balloons, my dog used to play with the small balloons at home at birthday occasions and big balloons hawkers are not regular. so i would like to say that it is not complete gradual desensitizing case. i have studied about this but i want to learn the same in respect of the strays. in case of strays or pets my dog gets crazy and i am not sure whether he wants to meet to play or for fighting. thanks to all

In an area where stray/feral dogs (and possibly other people's pets as well) can carry dangerous K9 diseases & parasites, I would train my dogs to ignore all other animals while out & about
hi to all once again.it is important and urgent.why this happened to me. the dog came to me. i along with my son were sitting on the bed.he approached both of us and we entertained him. he put his head on the bed and we petted him. after some time say 20 seconds he immidiately changed his mind and showed aggression. i am not able to understand this.
Was the dog actually on the bed with you and your son? Or did he just put his head on the bed? Is putting his head on the bed something that you usually allow him to do?
What exactly did he do when he "showed aggression"? Did he growl? Nip?
dog is four year old. actually this trail contains all the message about my dog and it helps to understand the nature of the dog and type of my training.the dog was not actually on the bed.he just put his head on the bed. i usually allow to put his head on the bed. he showed aggression and nipped as well.
