he didn't just embarass himself , the guy blew it for all scientists . . . now the SEA ( Scientists Employers Association ) are probably going to force a dress code which we all know is going to be the standard white lab coat .
and they can forget about casual " jeans " fridays .
why couldn't he have gone with the " puffy " shirt , a la seinfeld ?
seems it is mostly males complaining, are they just acting offended??
it was a female that created the shirt and gave it to him as a gift, you think she is offended by this??
the women who created the shirt is apparently getting lots of interest from clothing design and manufacturers, her career could be made by this incident.

No, I don't. But so what? If one person is not offended, then it's not offensive to many others? Not following the logic.
Also not following the logic of why guys who are offended should be suspected of "acting."
I have to admit that while I do find it offensive, I don't care very much, having long ago decided to both pick my battles and consider the source, but yeah, the guy didn't think ahead much about who and what he represented.
I may have a crappy monitor + poor eyesight but TBH when I saw the first press conference I was aware the guy was clothed but I did not even notice the patterns on the shirt.
I will wait for some genius to patent this print design and mass produce them and give 1% of the profit to go to scientific research, I will buy 5.
Yup. After Ian's post above, I had to refresh my memory by going to Youtube and looking up "Seinfeld puffy shirt." It's worth watching some of the longer clips, too.
Back on topic, what does the gender of the shirt's designer have to do with the price of tea in China?
