I like "No BS Dog Training." There was a series of business books that had Np BS titles. They were best sellers so definitely not off-putting in any way.
Puppies that don't have any bad habits are great candidates for all positive reinforcement. A dog that has been running the house for the last 3 years? Not so much IMO.
I have a large older population near me. Snow birds and retirees. They tend to not like the use of profanity in casual conversations including mild things like BS. I don't want my business to be a name that people have to say in an undertone to be socially acceptable otherwise I'd totally do it! Way too much BS in dog training.
I was thinking of something like Last Stop or One Stop dog training to appeal to all those people who have already had their dog "trained" and still don't have reliable obedience. I just don't want people to think that I'm their last stop before euth though as I'm leaving serious aggression cases to people with more experience with that. I plan on starting with just basic obedience and then I'll start taking on mild aggression or resource guarding cases IF people have already done my basic obedience program. I find people just seeking a band-aid for individual problems inevitably back slide and are back the way they came within a few months. The people who are willing to do full OB training plus the needed behavioral modification tend to be a lot more successful and more satisfied with the training.
"Bare Bones Dog Training" I intend to do away with a lot of the "fluff" being espoused by other trainers. There's really no need to overcomplicate matters.
"A Dog Apart" To reflect on the fact that very few "trained" pets out there actually are.
