Congratulations. She sounds like a natural in front of the cameras. You never know what will happen once the film is seen,

You can never tell what that short movie could bring.
The original Rin-Tin-Tin was a sable also.
Just sayin!
LOL - Bob - the crew swears I should get into training movie dogs, they were very impressed.
I am going to look into it - it was exhausting but a blast!

I say go for it!
A lot of movie and TV dogs are trained to respond to different hand signals given to the trainer on the side lines.
Dogs catch on to visual signals quicker then verbal commands.
One of my daughters is a sign language interpreter and she taught one of her dogs to read sign.
Obviously adjusted to be more simple for the dog but it went quickly.
One of my brothers and I both have had dogs in stage plays at the St. Louis Municipal Opera.

Yes, I use a blend of hand signals and verbal depending on the scenario.
It helps that Ironhide is Tri-lingual in all her commands (English, Hungarian and German) and is very responsive to hand signals and body language.
I am trying not to get hopes up, but I have sent out feelers to see if we are good candidates for movie work

Fingers crossed for your feelers sent out!
I suggest making a video of all his behaviors.
Even ask the producers/creators of the short film you did with them if they would be open to allowing you to use them as a reference.

Once it warms up videos will be happening
I have a litter of Pomeranians expected early January, so I will be home and can do these things.
The director wrote me a VERY sweet message yesterday - he asked if he could contact me in the future should he have another dog written into the script. I have no doubts everyone involved would give me a good reference (they were the ones who suggested the endeavor lol), but I will be sure to check with them if it goes any further and make sure

Very cool and what a great opportunity for you, too. Of course, now she'll probably be making more demands of you - pheasant instead of regular dog food, new toys every play session, a dedicated on-call groomer, etc.

She already is fed a raw diet, WAY better food than I get, and I am her dedicated on call groomer (for 10 dogs actually!) - the toy thing....well I guess I might bend my ways lol!
