2 hours after his run, leashless walk on the tundra and frozen swamp. He did great! And came to play tug when a truck passed on the road!
Temp was -31c, -45 with the Wind chill. He never feels the cold!
You will all be happy to know, with marker training, the bully stick is not an issue. He will actually hand it to me, and allow my hand to pop in his face while he chews. He knows them hands always have something good!
Praise beautiful cold, walkable days!
And a heater. So my machine was able to start, lol!

That's great, that he turned away from the passing vehicle to engage with you!
Good to know Bob! I have been showing him how to walk along the snow, that was his first attempt on trying to step on it. We won't be using that area again as there was too many swamp sticks jutting out, and we had to pick our way through!
He does like to admire himself in the ice tho, a little vain perhaps!
Sheesh! Found out his problem. He has so much pent up energy he needs to run!
Started up the snowmobile, took off, and he had a blast running for 15 min, off leash, rested him for an hour and went for a 45 min, loose leash walk, a car went by and he happily redirected to the tug!
So he is going to get a free run every morning, and a walk every afternoon, and we will train in the yard in btwn.
So nice to see him flopped on the floor napping. It's a first!
HOORAY in SPADES Huge Break-Through !!!
(IMHO, no more Bully Stix outside of crate -- He may respect you to take it , but maybe NOT the kids...)
Agreed Candi, we only allow it in the porch, as the damn thing reeks to high hell.
House toys are stuffed toys, antlers and those awesome Himilayan cheese chews.
