Thank you for your reply. I kinda figured this but thought it was worth a shot, with all the new things that people are finding out like Vit.C with bone trouble.
Adding supplements seems to be a controversal topic even to raw feeders. There are some experts that say ,don't bother..your dog does not need them. Others give a few suggestions.
I think the key is don't go overboard. I do supplement my dogs but not daily and not with the 'recommended' amount that they usually suggest. But then I also feed raw natural so I feel they are already getting better nutrition.
Kelp and alfalfa combined in equal amounts is suppose to be a great source of many, many vitamins and minerals. ( I think I have a list of what is in each of these somewhere and will try and find it). It is also likely one of the cheaper supplements you can add. I buy mine from the health food store in powder form and then just mix it together in equal amounts and give 1-2 tsp. a meal a couple times a week.
