Oh, thanks Kelly, that's clear now. I actually don't intend to do disaster training, I was just curious to know how this is possible. First i think, someone with a lot of experience should teach me how to train this. Secondly I'm too old, thirdly my dogs also are too old.
But yes to train scent work will be very useful. I suppose Socks has some talent. When I let something fall she runs spontaneously and delivers it to me.without command. So I guess, she will learn it quite easily on command. Not like your Toni yet at such a distance, but I hope this can be trained.
Bruxinha delivers me a rubber plate after having gobbled it empty. She first did it only on command, in between she anticipates the com and brings it to me voluntarily. She is also good in hide and seek but not yet for particular objects. She also loves doing this very much. Means she might also have talent to distinguish different items, if taught correctly?
I'll wait until I have the course. Already curious if they'll some day be able to "compete" with your Toni.
