A Sad Hello to Bob and Mike,
So very sorry to read about Both of your recent Losses -- Our hearts go out to each of you in these blows to the heart ... Never gets any easier, just more painful & depressing as our own lives tick-tock through the decades, while the only Balm is saving another dog via Rescue or starting over with a new puppy when we're Ready.
Thanks Candi. I've always been one to "get back on the horse that threw you". Meaning I don't like dragging out the grieving when I loose a dog. FOR ME getting a new puppy asap helps me get over the loss, not that we ever do but a new puppy can bring me out of it quickly. The good news today is my Standard Poodle's breeder texted me today and her other female is 30 days carrying puppies aka ultrasound. I will probably/hopefully have it a few days before Christmas. Ami, the puppy we just lost had something there that I have only seen in my #1 heart dog when Thunder was a puppy. This new breeding will be the same sire and the female is the mother of Ami's mother. They have excellent dogs with all the correct health checks and certifications going back six generations. I did serious checking because Missouri is about top of the list for puppy mills. Their kennels and whole place are immaculate.
