Believe it or not no. Unless they come down off the palisade wrong. I had an old timer from EU say NVBK takes about 2years of workability off them. Not bad when you consider Mals can work easy to 11yrs old. On Animal planet's MWD marathon last past memorial day there was a Soldier going to Iraq and his 8yr old GSD had to be retired right before he left, so he got another MWD and they gave him a 12yr old Mal to deploy with to Iraq, that dog worked and performed like he was 3-4. The picture you showed was a KNPV titled dog, not sure if you were thinking NVBK?? Although I would argue that if a GSD can do KNPV he can most likely do NVBK.
Ooops! You're right, I was thinking the wrong sport. I clicked on your link and failed to read the BIG RED TYPE that says American Ring sport. Duh!
Thanks, Chris. You have been most informative. I am thinking of using some of the agility exercises for my girl; she is incredibly agile, and she can work for hours, and some of the exercises look quite challenging. I'll have to save the protection portion for the next dog, tho, my girl's not tough...fun, but not tough.
