Its definately a joke. They pull the same shit with guns. There is the saying "guns don't kill people...people kill people." Now there needs to be a saying..."Dogs don't kill people....irresponsible a..hole owners kill people".

I'd sign that letter too!
as for those that are dumb enough to want to ban guns & certain breeds of dogs, I still say we should have a "National Clean Up the Gene Pool Day"!!

:
Where are the PETA a..holes on this? Don't these breeds have the right to exist?

Quite frankly, PETA supports the extermination of the so-called "fighting" breeds. These animals were bred by humans to kill stuff, therefore they're apparently not animals anymore. Their definitions of "fighting" breeds are pretty scattershot too, I've seen bullmastiffs and boxers in their lists.
In the stupid Olympics PETA gets the gold every time. They never stop amazing me with their bull shit. It's ok to snuff out the fighting breeds, but hell to you if you use a prong collar on your dog. They are like Titanic, Old Yeller, and Steel Magnolias all wrapped up into one. . . can you guys guess where I'm going with this. . . . . . . . . .pretty -F-ing sad.
Where do we vote on this. I want to also. I hope like hell this doesn't happen. The thing that makes me worry about this is the lobbyists in Washington aren't going be backing this like other issues. This industry doesn't bring enough money to the system, like cigarettes, guns and alcohol. I sure hope they don't starting banning certain breeds of dogs. It could happen too, with BS stories like this. It's obvious the owners in the case need to be held in a state mental facility. That should tell the public why these dogs attack, and most working dogs would show this form of behavior if put with those type of people/environment.
