I've only seen Nitro in pics but I always have the feeling my terriers just dug up a brown possum when I see him.

haha....you can make fun of me, but if Nitro is going to live up here you guys need to be nice! He's not ugly, just a little "challenged" in the beauty department..
Who was it that said "pretty is, as pretty does?" Forrest Gump?
-Can be a tad bit handler aggressive in the wrong situation.
-Can be very dominant if left unchecked.
Understatement!
But, my take on this is that I have not seen it as a strongly heritable trait. Environment seems to really have a bearing on this character trait and if you know its there it is often not that hard to prevent from becoming a problem.
Nitro is a pain in the ass..... I say that in a nice way! He's quite full of fighting instinct to the point of boiling over. As I recall so was his father.
Bridgette the kennel you are reffering to is an excellent kennel. He has many winners in EU and hasn't done alot of breeding at all by our standards here. I have a male grandson of Utamorou and he is "FREAKIN AWESOME" Most of all his dogs are studded by Uta. He produces dogs that have a perfect balance of civilness (will get down and dirty equip or not or will love ya if the handler says your ok) 110% of drive and works in it always, nerves better than the man of steel, IQ's that far exceed mine. I just find his dogs to be "Total Package" dogs. They have it all and the correct balances of it. Geert didn't do breeding for money, he just loved to compete, but wants to keep Uta alive through offspring, being that he is not in it soley for money, his breedings are what they should be very researched and carefully planned. The male off of Uta's son Rico that I just turned 8mo yesterday, and he knows the belgian ring routine, all his OB, he totally directed how fast his training would go, he was never pressured to move to the "next step" he pushed me there. His great balance of genetics and drive allowed him to learn this with 100% motivational training and "zero" compulsion.
I would recommend that you seriously put Geert on your high list of breeders, I know he has 1-2 litters on the ground now, which is not rare but is not common, he usually breeds one a year, and they usually are booked before birth and sometimes before conception. ~CHRIS DUHON
If you are still looking for a good breeder, email me at LVANROEK@AOL.com. Agencies in my area have bought 3 malinois from this guy, and they are great dogs, imports from Holland.
Just finished whelping lol last night. Jason FR III x Tessa ('Astra van Joefarm'--FR II trained--linebred on Elgos) just whelped 9 puppies. 8 girls (yup you read that right lol) and 1 boy (spoken for). Several females available. This is a 3rd repeat combo and proven to produce excellent grips, intensity, and extreme trainability and motivation in OB, agility, tracking, and protection. Extremely stable with abundant natural aggression. Pups have gone to police, detection, and sport (IPO/Sch, Ring etc). All pups from previous litters are working and the oldest ( going on 2 yrs of age) have already begun titling in Sch/IPO.
For anyone interested - Geert wrote me yesterday and has a female available from the Utamarou litter that we just got our male from. Our male is very good.
