I do not care about the hair as much as you think. I have had rottweilers for a lone time, just had them outside. Now with this one in the house you see all the hair on the floor. That is ok my wife get it up.

Isn't there maintenance books that state if you brush them outside several times a week that you will have less hair inside the house. Thats the way it works with my GSD. You have to decided to live with fair amount of hair or a Large amount o fhair in the Car or the house.
It kinda just goes along with having dogs. What do you all think?

I would think the motivation to brush a GSD frequently would be less about trying to keep hair out of the house and more about trying to improve his looks.

Now which one of these Natural breeds needs a tail docking in order to not look like a fat Labordar with attitude problem.
Once again which dog seems to be look the closest to the tree/Wolf, a predator that never has his hair brushed and looks quite marvelous.
Hey, Maybe the Rottie took its roots from Black Bears instead of the Wolf, same lumberimg movement??? And the Bear and the Rottie have the same attitude about work, hybernation or only when he wants to.
I adore both breeds but lets be honest are there any Rotts out there, that just love to work more then 15-30 minutes????

I'm with you there. In my arguably humble opinion a Rott with a tail is an abomination. On the other hand, no Rott owner ever had to tape a tampon in his dog's ears to make him look right!

Keith - Well we're sorry it takes those GSD's 2 hours to accomplish a task what takes our beloved Rotties only 15 minutes...
See you look at all wrong...Rotties are conserving energy!
Keith that helps a lot on a 45 minute - 1 hour man hunt, The dog quit on ya in 15 minutes just enough to get you deep in the woods.
But he would kick back in if they guy back tracked and tried to take you on. I'd pitty the fool, They do like to fight/bite/protect ya.
Hey I'm day dreaming like a Rott whats the chance of this? I must have been sleep like you. Rotts conserve energy, Now thats an understatement.
Too bad you can't say the same thing for food, they eat like a horse. Gotta love em.
