VanCamp,
Went back and read your post; Captain Kirk turning into the Hulk-it's pretty good man!
Lauren, been there done that, I JUST ABOUT DIED. I can't go back there, it is too much.
My favorite brag is "I paid a trainer in Germany to title my show dog, and OMG they were able to get a SchH1!" stated as if they thought it wasn't possible .
The only thing better than that is the moderator room, but it's not worth the effort for the laughs. You'd probably hurt yourself laughing that much anyway.

A guy was bragging about how he paid $3,500 for a pup with no training (like 8 week old). He paid that because it was from a very well known kennel that mixes show & working lines! After all they must be the best!
He stated that it's now in "Basic Training for Potential Police Training" and is doing very well! This guy says he is an LEO and the trainer is also and their goal is to train the dog in police work to be the guys new partner.
I'm a former LEO and when I questioned him he got really defensive (go figure)!
I forgot the description of this wonderful dog:
"he is Sieger show black and red beautiful(We're talking people stop their cars to ask about him beautiful), prefect size at about 82 lbs."
Tim and Lauren, are your lives so dull and empty that all you can do is write post after post about another BB? If you dislike the other board so much, Lauren, why do you constantly sneak on to it after being banned for stirring up s***? If you don't like what you read on that board then don't visit. Why don't you put all this wasted energy into working dogs? You might actually accomplish something.
And Yes I am a moderator on that other BB for the SchH, tracking and choosing a breeder forums.
I feel sorry for the people being led the wrong way just as I was. I've heard the same thing from multiple people. They are told what to do and what not to do, what to say and who to say it to. You make a good point. There has to be a lot if s*** on a board for it to be stirred.
As I said before, I thank God that I have Auster instead of something worse. Unfortunately, I have Auster and I won't be getting another dog until after college so I'm stuck with my foo foo dog.

My question is this, as we all prefer to see nothing but the best in our respective animals, why are the AKC type folks so reluctant to recognize the differences between the ASD and the Working GSD and GSD high lines? In regards to the comparison between the ASD and GSD, there appears to be very little if any common ground for comparison; i.e. function. Of course, every one will hold their ground on why it is they believe their particular deviation is the "better" one, but lets be REAL, outside of asthetics, there is no purpose for the ASD. I would like someone to proove me wrong; I have had all three.
Also, VanCamp, I think that's Captain Jerk into Pee Wee Herman.
