Joe Kuhn produced quite a few strong working dogs (and brought some good dogs into this country), but he bred under the kennel name "von Kuhnhof." A dog with the name "von Haus Kuhn" was probably bred by Adam, not Joe.
Just an update/correction on this thread. My friend who was good friends with Joe asked that I post this to set the record straight (she'd looked over the board recently and saw this thread, however couldn't remember her password or sign in name)...
Joseph Kuhn was KUHNHOF
his brother, Adam was HAUS KUHN
World of difference between the two brothers , the dogs they kept , their aims and goals . Joe's dogs and Adam's NOT the same.
Mike, can you tell me anymore about Haus Kuhn? What kind of dogs that were produced etc. So far I dont know anything other than "strong working dogs" Is there anything else you know about them? Does your friend know? Or Adam?
Update:
