A couple of friends from my club went over to belgium not so long ago where there was a trial - there was a dog going for a schutzhund 1. Apparently the dog should have been disqualified for running off after the dumbell was thrown. The dog was called 3 times but didnt come back. However the handler regained the control of his dog tried again then completed the trial. The judge awarded the sch1 because he trained at the same club as the handler and new him well. Apparently the dog had just been bought, the handler had had him for a couple of weeks so this was taken into account!?
A title was awarded to a dog that should have been disqualified!
