For PETA we could wrap them in, naaaw, better not go there or it could be called premeditated.
I use a remote control clicker!
Hangs on a colar and it works with the same remote control as a teletac, and has two sounds, a rewarding click and a correctional loud beep-kind of a sound.
you can find more about it "here"
Point to condition the dog to both sounds offcourse.
For conditioning to the click i use food offcourse, and for conditioning to the beep i use..... a throwchain.
I thought the same thing, why would throwing a frisbee at a dog be punishment. VC try not to make yours out of log chain.
Ï have never used this "disks" and I suppose I never will. Why concentrate on the bad behavior? Reward the good ones and ignore the bad ones, and voilá! You have a happy dog that LOVES training.
Back to Gwenda's original question. Markers are used in the learning phase {http://leerburg.com/markers.htm )when you move on to distraction and correction the dog needs to be on a leash - what you use for a correction is a personal deciosion. If your dog is not on a leash it had better have a remote collar or you are out of control.
