I have seen some of both, and I didn't like the... Could you elaborate?
I've come to this forum to learn and converse, but I'll stand over here by the wall like a good newbie and be quiet and listen...if those are the rules here.

Ron I was going to give a fairly long comment, but rather I will just say this...
OK! Mike, what's the inside scoop in REX?? Is this going to be a good cross in your opinion?
Or were you talking about some other STUD. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> You know it doesn't take much to confuss me.
Does anybody know the pedegree on Dean's dog, Rex? I have seen this dog in person at a seminar that dean gave to us a couple of years ago. The dog is GORGEOUS and has one hell of a temperment.
That is a link to his pedigree, to keep things on topic, if you would like to discuss Rex further please take it to the German working line section, he isn't the least bit CZ.
I filmed Deans dog at the nationals. I would be a little careful of draping too much praise on the dog - its a sport dog nothing more -and kind of a dull one at that. It is certainly not something I would breed.

It is certainly not something I would breed. From what I've heard, I would have to agree with Ed completely. His performance I would think are more a testament of Dean's training and handling ability. And one reason that I don't care for him, is that he's an Aly Vordersteinwald son, who had a great ZW but well...ummmm I'll refrain from my thoughts on him. And one thing that (since Ed commented and I will tie this in for him) is not favored by Ed and some others, Rex's sire line goes back to Fero.
I personally prefer a dog that produces a REAL side, I'm not a big sport dog fan.
