When My girls were little the youngest one used to hammer me on a regular schedule with the kitchen sink sprinkler. She wrapped it with rubber bands. You think I would have learned but when you get home from work at 2-3 in the morning, the thought process isn't all it should be.
I'm not a moderator so I can't BAM this thread but it needs to be. I understand that people need to have humor in their life but having seen something similar done to cat made me want to vomit and inflict terrible pain upon the kids who did it. I worked for a vet and this cat came in that had been snatched out of his yard in front of the owners children, doused in gasoline and lit on fire. This was the sweetest cat and was a trooper til the owners ended it's suffering. We tried for a week to help this cat. I was in charge of his care and it broke my heart to watch this cat in so much pain. He NEVER once bit or scratched at anyone depsite being burned over 90 % of his body. Those kids deserved to go to prison and learn what it's like to be tortured. I for one will never forget Dimitri so personally burning animal jokes makes me sick.
Well I totally agree with Karmen, more than you can know. I'm not going to add anymore on this thread because I got a feeling ~Ed The Terrible~ is going to be "dousing afew members with gas" lmao!! So, I'm officially off this thread. For the others . . . good luck.
As far as I can see, the only thing that prevents people from having fun and learning at the same time is intelligence......or the lack of it.
If you don't want to read the odd joke or two, then don't read 'em ~ simple as that. If humor offends you so much, then perhaps you should spend less time with your dogs and more time with people ~ it's having an adverse affect on you.
I have to say, I think some of you are far too anally retentive for your own good. Relax a little, step down fron your ivory towers and recognise that this board is for everyone, provided they behave accordingly."
I guess this was directed at me? There is plenty of good natured fun here on the board. But jokes about burning dogs is sick. If I wanted to tell jokes, BS, and mess around all the time I would go to bullshitjokesmindlessworthlesshumor.com, not Leerburg.
I don't like the idea of this General Conversation much. Lets keep them about something related to dogs until Ed says otherwise. I'll work on deleting the others.
