Thanks for the input all. I do have a disclaimer on the site, not that it did any good..LOL
Actually the site's owner emailed me back and agreed to take my stuff off the site. He told me he never got it from my site and he got it from a "free" graphics site. I'm waiting to see when he emails me back what the site address is...should be interesting....

I can send you the little script to add on to your pages if you want. It can't stop someone but at least it makes it harder. I've found a script for all right clicking or just right clicking over a photo.
You've got the same background image that I used to.

I assume the New England K-9 site is yours. Looks like a nice facility. However, I'm curious ...
1) How much did you have to pay for the replay rights to the Cop's theme song, "Bad Boyz"?
2) What kind of model release did you have people sign before you used their likenesses to promote your business?

Wismz: Your definatly wrong...I know the diffrence between Java and CGI... they have program in both launagues that can stop theft... the java I was talking about does disable right click.. I have used it.. the save as option is grey and cannot be used.. the cgi program is a script that uses SSI to display the images from a hidden /root directory that is not web accessabele, and of course you can't right click it because it's an executable file and you will get nothing but a blank text file. I have been programming cgi for about 10 years now..there may be a lot about dog training I don't know about.. but cgi is a diffrent story.
Here is a link to a script I just found in about 2 seconds.
CGI Program
This one costs, but there are a million free ones.. just have to look.

Couple of things (as this is something that I have been trying to deal with for the last 6 mos):
- At the point of taking the photo, you have the inherent copyright to that photo unless you:
1. sell the copright in full.
2. give a release for someone to use that photo. The release can also restrict content and timeframe of the use. But, you still own the copyright.
Ed has posted a few links to Copyright infringement sites. He is fanatical about ensuring and crediting photos.
If someone uses your photo taken either from a photo or from a website, you can contact the server's legal dept. That is what I had to do in regards to a breeder. They threatened to take her site down after she removed and re-posted my photos a few times; now she states that they were joint work photos (not true). I have also notified her ISP and reminded them that they (and the website designer)are liable as well.
I would 1st contact the website owner and designer, copying the ISP, and ask them to remove the photos. If that does not work, then go the server legal route. Here is the link: http://www.a-w.org/report.html.
Just make sure that you have the phyiscal original negatives.

2) What kind of model release did you have people sign before you used their likenesses to promote your business? CSnyder...actually I PAID a online music distribution company for use of the song. I'd post the link for you now, but I did it about 4-5 years ago so I'll have to try and find it..but I PAID for the use of the song!
As for the "models"..it's either my fulltime PAID Decoy, or Departments/Officers that have emailed or mailed me pics of them/dog I've sold them wanting to be on the site. Others are pictures taken for the site when the handlers are here...and they know they are going on the site. I didn't use anything to promote my business without someone knowing it. If I quote someone, I ask them first if it can go on the page. If it's a pic, it's one of my own or one sent to me for the purpose of the site. It's a bit different than having someone "right click" your work and put it on their own site as their own.

Frankly, anybody that knows how to build a web page knows how to get around a script IMO. I just use one on my site because it's better than nothing, but the best way to make sure that images don't get snagged it to put the notice in the photo.

*shaking head* Ahhh another unfounded statment. Just because you can make a webpage in no way means you know how to hack a script...that's like saying just because you can own a dog, you know how to train it. lol
Ok all you web page designers... tell me what this is, line by line.
print header();
print(the_code(-Part => "header",
-Title => "sign up for a list",
-List => $default_list));
if ($available_lists <0 >) {
print <<EOF

I produce local TV spots for a living, and I must say that it's really nice to be able to take imagery such as pictures and logos from a client's website (always with their permission, of course). Sometimes, it's a real pain to get print materials in the proper format from the printers, and cutting out the middle man saves a lot of time and headache. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
As for Star Trek geeks, well, I'll just say that I named my dog Eugene J Roddenberry, TD.
