Liquid glycerin soap is saddle soap....easier to deal with than old fashioned bar of soap...did that for years with saddles and bridles...so new fangled modern liquid saddle soap in spray bottle easy! Leather New, Lexol etc all good products. Neatsfoot good on old dried up leather, but you have to be careful with it...as with everything else, time has given us better leather conditioners now than 20 years ago.
Saddle soap cleans...so yes, use saddle soap in either form to clean the leather if it is dirty or before you condition it...then to restore or condition, there are lots of products...I have Passier cream conditioner, Tanners, Lexol, etc...I found that the Black Rock is just super on the harness leather...Matt, if you want a jar, they sell it a saddle shop in south park...I go by there alot...can pick it up
