I have a Malinois who goes everywhere with me, and I'm usally floored if they know what a Maliois is. They always seem to say, "Oh how cute is he a German Shephard or is he mixed with????" So when you talk to the locals and even animal control have pictures to show them what he looks like. They may not know what a Malinois is or what they are looking for.

I don`t know where you are but he probably beds down during the day usually under something or near the edge of a wooded area. Don`t be upset if he doesn`t respond to you, he`s in survival mode. The great dane we caught after many months didn`t respond to anybody. The searcher that caught her saw her at the edge of the woods got a lawn chair and a newspaper and sat facing away from her. after an hour or so she walked over to the girl and let her slide a leash on. Held in a kennel for a couple hours shaking and stressed but with no pressure. The owner came and she cautiously warmed to him. A couple hours later I visited the house and it was as if she never left, on the couch and getting toys from her toy box.
Don`t give up.
The only thing needed for evil to exist is for good men to stand by and do nothing!!!
Update:
Unfortunately I don't have my dog back. Since there have been no recent sightings that positively matched his description I am thinking that someone has him and does not want to give him back. I have done some extensive advertising and will continue. A half page article was written in one of the small local papers. I'm going to try and get a story done in the main newspaper too. I am working on getting as much publicity as possibly. This will put pressure on whoever might be keeping him. Also if a neighbor of the idiot keeping him sees him, maybe they will rat out the person to get the reward. We're not giving up although things don't look very promising since it's been almost a month. Please keep Riot in your prayers.
