I dont think she said she was putting him to sleep because she said they were attacking her 2 little dogs. She said it went after everyone in her family except her. thats why she contacted trainers and behavelists{spl}. I know that if any dog shows aggression to my child I'm not going to own it.I'M sorry but my child is more important then a dog and i love my dogs like crazy but i would not scrafice my child getting bit so i could see if i could try to change his behavior. Sorry not worth it to me.

Thomas, it wasn't. I was just agreeing with you the fact of people getting a dog they knew nothing about. Many people buy a dog and then breed it to "make some money", or buy one for an "attack dog" or just because it is pretty without even really knowing that it takes soooo long to train up a dog the correct way, of course training yourself is the first step. Most of the people I come across want to "make thier money back" when buying a dog. IMHO that is a puppy mill. Whether you have one litter or one hundred litters-to me it is the same:breeding dogs to line your pocket. I was just voicing my disgust with puppymills, and the people who buy from them....no knowlegde of anything about what it takes to breed a sucessful and healthy litter, not that I know a thing about it because I have never ever wanted to be a breeder.
Yes it is VERY sad for this dog.
No, to clarify, I am not agreeing the breeder was a miller, how would I know whether or not he was...?
Understood. I would have to disagree on atleast one thing and that is breeding to make money. Engaging in any activity for profit, really really disturbes some people. But disturbing or not it is the only system that mankind has ever developed that has worked. The reason it works is because it mimics nature, ie natural selection.

Sure, and I agree. It's just the ones who don't care what they breed, do no testing, and of course could care less if the dogs temperment and health are good. That's what I was meaning.
I'm sure over the years, you can make money breeding dogs, but not until you have good, proven stock that you can build off of.
Neighbors breed Boxers, they don't even know what Boxers were bred to do, so how can they even breed a good litter? You could just hear the silence when I asked, (simply because I couldn't remember) "Now what were Boxers bred to do?"
