Brandi,
None taken, just didn't want people to think I was out to get anyone (just myself LOL ) I also was just trying to say that just because a dog does an 86 doesn't mean the dog looked bad or that he/she didn't deserve more. The dog may have blown an exercise that was worth more points but all in all the over all picture looked good. Many dogs I have liked have not been high scorers, not to take anything away from Eagle or other dogs who have great scores because we all want high scores but sometimes it's the spirit of the dog that catches your attention..not the placing or scores..

The HOT Championship was great. Jim Sears and his dog Razor Cleaned house (yoooo hooo) Bruce McNabb was high sch1, Jim Sears high sch2, and Cynthia (super obedience) Zimermann was high Sch3. High in trial, high tracking, and high sch2 went to jim sears. He and cynthia tied for high protection, but cynthia got it from the obedience. She also took High obedience. Her ob routine was absolutely breath taking. What a show she and jim put on. All in all the event was wonderful and had a great turnout

Well I'm back from teh HOT..It went well. Pencils were very sharp this weekend. You sit there and think --OK about a 93-94..and then they announce your score 90..ugh LOL...Not that 90 isn't good . All in all it sure was a good competition. Cynthia Zimmermans dog flew on the courage test and Ronnie Weiss made a tremendous catch. For SchH III she won, Andre Aportella was 2nd, Phil Behun 3rd, Krystin Hildebrandt 4th and Bruce McNabb 5th. I think Doodle finsihed like 7th. He did place second OB III on Friday. He didn't make it back over the wall for some odd reason that day He got it on Sunday though. Dante really did well and I can't wait for the DVD to come out. There was a rocket recall that was done with dogs. I entered Bodie the Bullet..of course those of you who know Bodie, "the bullet" is sarcastic LOL..he did manage to finish in the middle somewhere .
Hey Alloway, missed seeing you there this weekend. I would love to see that tape with Deb Z and Dante. I forgot all about that. And he hasn't change LOL
Be sure to go to http://www.famtreasures.com in the next week or so. They ususally post pictures and a sample piece of video from the trials they film.
Oh and Melissa McIntyre was given the honor of being the best sportmanship title. She was truly deserving of it. She was a pleasure to be around. She kept a positive attitude the whole weekend and her high spirits was a joy to be around..Great job Melissa

Hi Karmen, glad to hear that you had such a great time at the HOT trial!
I am also very happy for Melissa McIntyre, her dog is my pups' older half sibling!
Kudos to all the competitors
