I definately don't doubt that they love there dogs you can tell. What other reason would act that way? And no, not all "show Moms and Dads" are like that but this show IS funny!
And The animal cops... I watch tht ll the time. It is so sad what those poor dogs go through! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
Hmmm…. So, should I ever want to put a show champion title on a dog all I have to do is find shows with one other dog and hope I win half of the time? And here I was thinking I couldn’t think less of conformation titles….

Conformation has been a long term AKC scam. The AKC knows about the problem, but turns a blind eye to it to save their reputation.
The amount of bribery that goes on at Dog Shows by the conformation rings would startle most people. Most ( not all, but *most* ) AKC conformation judges recieve pay offs from professional handlers, and there's a whole lot of money exchanging hands at shows in the little back rooms.
Not to mention that AKC conformation judges remain among the most ignorant dog people on the planet. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

No, but most of us won't be getting dogs from AKC conformation lines though ( since this is a working dog forum <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> ) .
I never had a big need for a dog that would run in a small circle and stand still while some fool played with it's testicles. But that's just me......... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />
