Woah Nancy, thats just plain cruel, how do you live with yourself?
I went to the park about a month ago with my GSD, my friends were taking their kids to play in the playground so I came with them and sat on a park bench with Cujo. Not 5 minutes later a park employee told me there were no dogs allowed in the play area, something about dogs scaring the kids etc, I look disappointed but not questioning it, I leave. I start to drive away... and notice there's not a single sign anywhere that says No Dogs Allowed, in fact, 20ft away theres a poop bag dispenser!! So I park up again and walk back totally knowing what I'm gonna say to her if she comes back to kick me out. She never did, it was a Sunday, she was the only employee there and she had left. Turns out that one of the parents who had already left had asked a park employee to ask me to leave. After I came back I had kids come up to me for an hour asking me about my dog, and telling me how they saw german shepherds rescue people on TV etc. People's narrow minded uneducated views annoy me. If my dog was unsafe around kids, give me some credit, I wouldn't take him to a kids playground!
I hate the fact that people with working dogs constantly have to be the dog world "ambassadors" to the general public. No one understands anything about it, yet they're the first ones to say crap like, "The world is a dangerous place so don't get a protection dog!" They are encouraging me to get one- so I can protect myself against them and their kids who freak out at age 15 cause their parents didn't let them walk down the street without wearing a helmet or play outside cause they could catch some horrible disease...

Isn't it a comfort to know that people like the saints who wrote this article have only the interests of the public at heart? It must be such a burden for them to be the only ones in the world who can save us all from the dangers of dog ownership. I for one will sleep soundly tonight knowing that these brilliant superhumans are doing the thinking for all of us morons.
ps- it took me a while to type this because I'm just exhausted from having to clean up all the blood off the driveway out front after my French Ring trained dog ate all the neighbors. Very tiring work.
I wish these "enlightened, progressive" pet people would realize that if you want a pet whose function is to be admired by one and all as they sit on the couch, then GET A FU**IN GOLDFISH!!
