We had coonhounds that would swallow cats if they caught them in one gulp.
Hey Jeff, could I borrow one of those coonhounds for a little while? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
Kidding of course...
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
Well, dogs have the instinct from wolfs of gulping their foods. So since I have no experience in feeding raw, I can see where it may be freaky. Just keep that in mind that they are gulpers from their ancestors.
We had a rooster, key word here- had. He was cocky, aggressive and dumb as a rock. He got out of the pen, challenged my male GSD and ended up as dog dinner. The dog ate the whole bird, head, feet and most of the feathers. My dog turned to me, and with feathers still stuck in his teeth, gave me that "What?" look. I called the vet in a panic, he chuckled and said there was probably nothing to worry about. Just watch him. He was right. While I don't recommend live poultry, this one deserved it.

Oh & Matt, Oddly enough, if you have any more freaky, sick stories I want to hear those, too. I may be a little sick myself, I love horror movies, too! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
