What about purchasing some agility equipment...just the basics like a tunnel, couple of jumps, etc. Agility is something I love to do with my dog...I am probably the world's worst handler as I tend to confuse the heck out of her but we have fun anyways. I have jumps set up in the yard that we mess around with and for bigger obstacles, we hit the playgrounds. My dog loves to go down slides for some strange reason... I also take an agility class once a week, following our obedience class (although we are taking a few weeks off right now). Also, I used to rollerblade with my Cairn Terrier to wear her out...worked like a charm.
1. Go to river.
2. Throw tug/toy/ball downstream and across river.
3. Drink beer while dog retrieves item and fights current to get back to you.
4. Repeat.
My posts reflect my own opinions, and not those of the Marine Corps or the United States.
Dress your dog up in old clothes and watch him as he fights to get them off. What was once torture becomes a load of fun once he gets good at ripping them off. I know that's horrible- We don't have a TV...

hahahahaha!!
I throw my towel on my dogs head after a shower n he used to try to shake it off, now he just walks around with the towel on his head/back till it falls off.
What we use to do is have our GSD chase a laser pointer (make sure all breakables are up) We also would hit golf balls out into the field for him to run after, and bring them back, we would do the same thing with softballs too maybe try a RC car or something like that.
