Actually, several forum members were in attendance and some high grade photo's should be poted on various sites soon.
A very good trial overall.
Even a dog from Leerburg offspring competed!

Thanks for a great trial, Chris. Nice to know that us 40+ folks can still work dogs for 12 hours a day two days in a row.
Thanks LOADS for sending Jonathon on a beer run for us. It was GREATLY appreciated.
You did a fantastic job with your 'one man army' pulling this thing off. Hat's off to you, my friend.
If you'll excuse me, I'm home now, and going to sleep for the rest of the week.
Happy and SAFE Training,

Scott,
You and Jay are and were awesome. I appreciate everything you guys did to help me do this. What makes me even more excited more than anything is that I got to do some good work under the supervision of you two, and I truely feel I came away with a wealth of knowledge than I had 2 days ago. That means you guys are someone I can learn from. Many want to be someone that people learn from, but few actually know how to pass on the knowledge. Far from where I want to be, but I'm one step closer in a short time thanks to you two. Jay even went so far as to narrate outloud all his movements, and what he was doing and why when we were in the decoy den(as if making small talk), but he didn't want me to feel like he was getting into such simple details, yet details I needed to know, so of course, I was listening (cause it was just he and I) and I soaked it up, and I learned alot from that. You guys kick ###!

Chris good job bro the whole "army of one" rang true. Over all I though the whole deal went off with out a hitch. Well exept for the blistering 100 temp and the rain and the fire ants.....oh ya I guess that is just a Georgia trial..I did not get to see Carlos in the Lv I and Lv II but Tony told me he was kicking *() and the rest were just trialing for second place. What time did y'all get done last night anyway....

Chris,
Believe me, it was our pleasure. We don't claim to be experts on anything, but are happy to pass along our meager knowledge to those who are willing to learn. It takes folks like yourself to make any program succeed.
ASR is nothing 'special' in the dog biz, but it is a bit of a different animal than some of the other venues out there, as we are looking for something a bit different in the dogs and handlers, and we go about finding it in a unique manner. I think a few folks at the trial thought it was going to be one thing and learned the hard way that it wasn't what they thought.
Putting on a trial of any kind is a tactical nightmare, and you did a helluva job with what you had to work with. Again, BravoZulu for a job well done.
Matt, it was great to see you again, as well. We got to the field to set up around 1430, and I think the last dog finished at around 0300 this morning. Chris, Jay, and myself got out of there around 0530.
Hope to see you all again real soon.
Happy and SAFE Training,
Scott |

Man you "old timers" are animals. I was at home in Augusta asleep at 0530 . I thought chris did a kick #$% job myself. Not to bad for a grunt. LOL Tony and I talked to Will and we will have our club "offical" in a week or so and we are looking at having a trial in the fall/winter. I am pushing for a indoor trial at a sports complex we have down here but we will have to see if it is even doable.
Any way it was great to see y'all again andI look forward to the nect trial. The sport can only go up and I feel that is where it is headed!
