QUOTE: Would anyone recommend Rashmi using Revolution END
I think there are at least two vet people on the board........what is the prevailing opinion of Revolution? I haven't read up on it yet......is the idea that it enables the owner to administer less medication because it prevents both fleas and infestation of heartworms from flying insect bites?
I only asked because you suggested. What would I do without you guys!!! By the way what was that internet site 1-800-pets where I can go to buy medicine???
My vet suggested against it as he said that it is more expensive and as he had bought Frontline earlier, there was no need to give revolution and double the $$.
My vet had GSD himself. I was happy about it. He is his father and his grandfather also owned one. He grew up among gsds. I don't know why that makes me feel better...
I see commercials on TV for it all the time but I have never used them, so I take no responsibility for your ordering from them <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> My vet charges me $40 for the 6-pack of HeartGard Plus, and $40 or $45 for the 4-pack of Advantage, so I don't bother going anywhere else, my vet is even closer to me than the pet store!

You may want to ask your vet if he/she will match internet prices. Some do. There have been a lot of counterfeit medications sold over the Internet, so if your vet will match, do that.
